Jérémie Ternoy Trio

In 1999, Jérémie joined together around him Olivier Verhaeghe (low) and Charles Duytschaever (drum). The trio was then heard on the Jazz scenes of North of France and in Belgium : Travers in Brussels, Tourcoing Jazz Festival… The group takes part to the Jazz contest at the Defense in June 2003, where they were rewarded obtaining the special mention from the jury, and Jérémie receives the second price of soloist. The consecration came in 2006 when they won the reZZo 2006 at Jazz à Vienne. With Jérémie's compositions, a music is developped where the melody richness is mixed with a crude energy and where improvisation holds a major role. Each track is often the starting point of a collective writing work.
